The brief

LINĒA Awards recognises the best of Canadian architecture and interior design every year. It needed a site that looks as considered as the work it celebrates, handles entries from firms across the country, and builds a lasting archive of Canadian design, in English and French.

What I delivered

A new WordPress website, designed and built from scratch as a custom block theme.

• Custom full site editing (FSE) block theme, so the team can build and edit pages without touching code

• Online entry system on Gravity Forms, with submissions turned straight into draft projects for review

• Eight award categories, from Built Excellence to Lifetime Achievement, each with its own page

• Jury, mission and founder pages that tell the story behind the awards

• A projects archive that grows every year as winners are added

• Full English and French versions with WPML

• Custom fields with ACF Pro for structured project and award data

• Newsletter sign-up for shortlist announcements and jury notes
